Raspbian Images

A Raspbian image is a file that you can download onto an SD card which in turn can be used to boot your Raspberry Pi and Via APC into the Raspbian operating system. Using a Raspbian image is the easiest way for a new user to get started with Raspbian.

Official Raspbian Images

The Raspberry Pi Foundation has produced and released their own recommended image of Raspbian. Because this image and subsequent updates will be used by 100,000's of Raspberry Pi users, it should be considered the "Official Raspbian Image". This image can be downloaded directly from the Raspberry Pi Website Downloads Page.

Preinstalled SD Cards

Looking for a simple way to get your Raspberry Pi up and running? TrendingUK offer Sandisk SD SDHC cards with the latest official Raspbian image preinstalled, ready to be plugged into your Raspberry Pi. Available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB capacities.
